Unleash your kids’ superpowers this summer and join us for a virtual race around the world, powered by Marvel!
A super-fun, fully accessible event for all abilities, this virtual race lets you call the shots. Set your distance, assemble your team, and walk, run, wheel or swim your way to victory.
As official Charity Friends of the Superhero Series – the UK’s one and only disability sports series – we’re putting a call out to our community of superheroes and trusty sidekicks to unleash your powers and join our epic fundraising mission.

About the event
For this fundraiser, we’re putting the power in your hands. Choose your target distance, and then you have a whole month to reach it however you want. Whether that’s walking, swimming, wheeling, or skating, anything goes. You can even test your spidey-senses and complete some super-sensory challenges.
Super-sensory challenge
We want to make sure no superhero gets left behind. Complete a challenge and convert each sensory achievement into a 1km to add onto your target. We’ve listed some suggestions below, but feel free to come up with your own!
Burst that Bubble: For this fun challenge you can blow or pop bubbles! Each bubble blown or popped (which can be popped by yourself or by looking at or saying which one you want popped) is one kilometre towards your goal!
The Sniff/Taste Test: Can you identify five or more super smells or tastes? Each one correctly identified – either by name or by pointing/touching/looking at/matching up with pictures – is one more kilometre in the bag! (Some super tasty ideas: chocolate, yogurt, honey, ice cream, jelly, mushy peas, curry sauce.)
Super Sounds: Ask your Superhero to prick up their ears & detect familiar sounds from around the home! This could be anything from a kettle boiling & clock ticking to a microwave pinging & a vacuum cleaner cleaning! Every right answer is, you’ve guessed it, one kilometre clocked up towards your total!
