Fundraising at school

There are lots of ways you can do fundraising at your nursery, school, college or university to help raise money for Family Fund. This can include non-uniform days, talent shows and nominating us as your charity of the year.

Whether you’re a busy teacher or an inspired student, every penny you raise means we can continue to provide vital grants and services to families caring for a disabled or seriously ill child or young person on a low income. Your support makes a big difference.

Not only is fundraising at school great fun, but it can also help teach children and young people valuable life lessons, including:

• building leadership skills, as they take charge and raise money for an important cause
• learning team building skills, working with others to run a fundraiser
• practising acts of kindness and helping others – proven to improve personal wellbeing
• encouraging imagination and creativity as you develop ideas for your fundraiser.
